About Mackie Wellness
Hi, I'm Jan, a fully qualified Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist. To complement my sports massage therapy, I have also trained in Hot Stones Massage, Myofascial Cupping and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM).
Having experienced the benefits of massage, reflexology and cupping therapy from a young age, I have always had a keen interest in alternative therapies. Unsurprisingly, when my son was born, baby massage soon became our favourite activity. Owing to the beautiful bonding experience it provided and its profound physiological and emotional benefits, I started an online baby massage business - bambino&i. As my son has grown, massage has continued to be part of his life but as a sports mad 12 year old, I thought it was time to upskill as we wanted to help him recover from sports, avoid injury and help him through growing pains. In addition to this, as my husband and I have had our fair share of sporting and postural injuries (i.e. sitting at a desk for too long), we also decided to make a concerted effort to keep ourselves fit, mobile and pain free!
I am dedicated to the highest standards of professionalism, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. I will always adhere to our code of ethics, respect client boundaries and maintain strict confidentiality.
Any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch! Jan x
